August Home Publishing, publisher of Cuisine at home magazine, has an immediate opening for an Art Director. This full-time, in-house position is responsible for layout design, food photography, visual characteristics, and production of the magazine. This position also manages the design of all Cuisine at home cookbooks. The Art Director reports to the Editorial Media Director and must work closely with all staff members to understand and reflect the editorial focus for articles and web-related materials. This position will be responsible for supervising staff designers. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of professional design experience and a design degree, staff management experience, and publishing experience. Must be proficient in Adobe, Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
