2008 Student Design Exhibition

ADAI strives to maintain and further the design profession by assisting others interested in entering the
field and by encouraging high standards of competence. In keeping with that philosophy, an annual
design exhibition is held to recognize the outstanding work completed by students around the state.

The 2008 ADAI Student Design Exhibition Awards Reception was held
Saturday March 1, 2008 at the Des Moines Public Library with well over
150 members, students, parents, professors, and professionals in attendance. 

ADAI would like to thank this years judges—Ryan Rogness of Mauck Groves Branding and Design,
Julie Mangels of julsdesign, inc., and Adam Jensen of Love Scott & Associates–for all their hard work
reviewing student work from all the area schools. 

A $100 Best of Show award and 12 $50 Best of Category awards were given out, thanks to the generous
donations of the following businesses and individuals: Acme Printing, Art Directors Assoc. of Iowa, 
Cooper Smith & Company, D.E. Smith Photography, Integer Group, Multimedia Imaging, 
Performance Marketing, Tom Rodd–Artcraft, Inc., Trilix Marketing Group, and Harry Watts.
